How you can help

Adopt-A-Birthday Child: As part of our Adopt–A-Birthday Child Program, you can choose a birthday child from our Monthly Birthday Adoption List. Based on their age and gender you can create a personalized birthday gift bag just for them.

Host a Toy Drive or Supply Drive for a specific item: Host a Toy Drive at your school, within your church group, or even within your network of friends and family. You can even collect for specific items. For example, you could have a stuffed animal drive, a shampoo and lotions drive, a drive to collect cake mix and frosting or just party supplies. We are always in need of all these items on a continuous basis.

Donate toys/supplies: Donate items that will be used to assemble the more than 60 birthday bags we provide each month. We are always in need of new or gently used gift bags, tissue paper, and toys and supplies to fill each bag. Many people have donated their Beanie Baby collections to us or gift bags that they collect to recycle.

Host a Build-A-Bag Event: Anyone can participate! Groups such as scouts, church groups, schools, offices, friends and family, etc. gather toys and assemble birthday bags at their location. This is a fun and unique idea for all age groups. Click on our “Host a Build-A-Bag” page to learn more.

Donate Monetarily: Donating monetarily helps Birthday Bags 4 Kids to purchase toys/items needed for the birthday bags. Each Birthday Bag has a value of at least $15.00.

Volunteer your time: Volunteers are always needed to hold toy drives, help assemble birthday bags, sort and organize donations and more. This is a great community service opportunity!

Spread the Word: Help spread the word through your network of co-workers, friends and family! Social media such as Facebook and Twitter are great ways to do so. Find us on Facebook at Birthday Bags 4 Kids.

I would like to help buy adopting a birthday child and donating birthday cakes. What is a birthday without a cake?

I heard on the About Redlands FB page that you are in need of party coordinators…I am a wedding/event planer who would love to help out…actually in any way needed but my expertise in party planning could be used if you need it.
